Program doesnt show thumb ( folder.jpg, <film>.jpg). Not sorted by type of files, all files ( jpg, avi, mkv, mp3 - all files in one folder) PLEX look very nice

Since it seems development has stalled on AirVideo, I started looking for an alternative. I had minor glitch on the windows server install. It worked on one machine and not another. Easy fix, just update to the latest iTunes, or (re)install bonjour. It does play music, it does show picture, and it played every type of video I threw at it. I removed one star as its a bit more resource hungry on the server side than AirVideo. Very high bitrate videos that worked on AirVideo were too much for Serve2me on my old P4 desktop machine. No difficulty on newer CPUs. One other item is that I dont think its possible to manually set bit rates for "local" LANs vs "remote" LANs. If Im using it a friends that has a lan with 3G Internet access, it thinks its connecting at wifi N speeds when its really at 3G speeds. It would be nice to be able to set its quality/bit rate high for a "bonjour" connection and low for a wan connection (and preferable a 3rd setting for direct 3G) Other than these two items, it works very well, the video and sound quality are excellent, decent user interface, and reasonably priced.

After I paid for it and it installed, couldnt even run it! It keeps crashing when I try to open it.

It does the job but I would like to see more enhancement. I mainly use to access my huge iTunes library remotely without the need to sync. I have encountered few bugs that requires a reboot on iPad 3 with OS 5.1.1, but its all minor and I can live with it.

Interface is terrible, you just have no access to anything.

I can not believe that this is first streaming app that made an iPhoto integration!!!

Love it! For iTune movie use the safari player, it work perfectly ( for me anyway)

..an app that streams both video and photos with airplay (ie full screen on hdtv vs 4:3 mirroring which is the usal fare for photos). Worked immediately with no hassle. lets me leverage my file structure on the pc unlike apples photo application which flattens the file structure. This is the only app i have found that allows photos to be streamed thru airplay and apple tv to full size on an hdtv screen...and still allow you to leverage the apple pc file structure i created. Well done!!

This is the perfect app for our setup. We have a home theatre MacMini, with all of our pictures music and movies. It sort if acts like a server. This app allows us to stream everything related to music, video and pictures with ease! Amazing! Full screen movie support for my iPhone 5 is splendid and the update was nice and quick. A+!

Te best audio/video streaming app

Very fast connection...no lag. I had a connection error at first but it was my router settings. I found the developer trouble shooting page for this type of error and fixed it in a couple of minutes. This is what I have been looking for to play my music from iTunes throughout my house. Thanks!

I tried many streaming apps for the last year and honestly I found this one is the best , you van stream video and photos and you can choose entire drive to stream ,, its very fast and never disconnect, you can use it through wifi or 3G , the only concern I have it doesnt support downloading files to the device itself (iPad or iPhone) so you can watch them offline, I hope this feature to be added soon.

This is the best stream App that I have ever tried. It plays everything and it does it very fast. Awesome App. Highly recommended.

Great app - works really well! My only suggestion would to have the ability to post the pictures to Facebook from within the application.

This app is a time vampire wast of time. Save your money does not work at all.

StreamToMe is the best app Ive found for media streaming to iOS devices. Just install the software on your Mac or Windows computer (called ServeToMe), choose the folders you want to share, and thats it. Works on WiFi or 3G, i use it to watch movies at home, or listen to my mp3 collection in the car. Only fault I can find is that the iTunes library browsing is a little messy. Get this app!

But needs the ability to save pictures onto device.

Amazing Using the computer as a server to stream audio library to an iPod Excellent sound,easy operation makes iPod a complete sound system device. I can now listen to iPod--Remote the computer server with the Apple remote (for the sound system ) and listen music on my iPod streamed to me from the computer server with the stream to me app Wow !!!

I use stream to me daily. It is the number one used app on my iPad. Absolutely perfect. It had many updates over the years, works like a charm. I use the server on my windows pc and even without bonjour it works perfectly by IP address. It is great to see well done app. Congrats from fellow developer.

By far the best app for streaming media. Whereas many other apps such as Air Video stream merely video and Image Bank streams pics. StreamToMe streams both fairly fast and effortlessly! Ive been using this app for over a year now and there has never been a significant problem. The updates come frequently and address specific issues such as making the media stream much faster without the occasional disconnect. At 2.99, its a steal! What more do you need to know?
