Since last update, you cant leave the player in the background; it wont shuffle to the next song. Please fix this.

One of the few, maybe the only, apps to allow access to ones iPhoto library while not on the same local network as the iPhoto machine without requiring an intermediary website. Its worth the purchase price right there. The video streaming also works extremely well, and technical support has been excellent the few times I required it.

Now fully user friendly with voiceover!

Best app available to access your media files remotely. I have both Plex and XBMC but often times I use Streamtome....kudos to this app team.

This app is getting there. But there are still a few things missing. I do admit, I only use this app for streaming music. I use Air Video HD to stream all my videos. Heres what I recommend adding/changing: 1. Show different views for music, like in iTunes with List, Grid, and Artist List views. A good example I like is from the Soul Mote app. 2. Show music in order of Artist, then show the albums, then show the songs of that album. 3. Needs a Search window, and allow users to search by artist, album, song, genre, favourites, playlists, etc. 4. Make it easier to set preferences/settings. Locating them takes a while to find and it makes it hard to remember... Especially when we only go there occasionally. 5. Allow user to set settings globally to make things easier. If there is anything I may have missed, I apologize.

I tried many other open source media servers but they were finicky and took a great deal of effort to work. This software combined with the server app are amazing! I can stream my flac music collection and movies from anywhere. Highly recommended.

Ive been using it for over a year and while I was pretty happy with its functionalities, Im getting more and more frustrated with it. See, the makers of this app seem to consider it perfect as it is since they havent updated it in ages. And with the recent update to iOS 8, new problems seem to arise. Its getting more and more difficult to scrape the video back and forth. Ialso having problems with photo display. The proportions are wrong when you open a new picture for about 1 second and the pic resizes to its proper ration. Somtimes it changes size two times before getting it right. Its extremely annoying since I like to watch my girly pics in a diaporama style, with each picture displaying for a few seconds. I think these problems are due to the code not veing optimiEd for the last two versions of iOS. But what do I know? Im looking for a better straming app, now.

Everything is great with this app. However, seek bar should remain so you dont have to tap for it to show up. There should be audio and video que lists. Lastly volume control from within the app so you can use your side buttons.

I probably use this app more than any other on my phone. The server is easy to set up on the PC as well. Definitely worth the price.

Have been searching for a long time for a really good Mac to iOS to Airplay streaming combination. So far this product works as exactly advertised. very impressed!

Great application runs smoothly , too bad only stream 720p , no1080P streaming.

Perfect little app. Works great. Just download servetome on your computer from their website and youre off. Works on local or external network so you can stream on the road. There is also a streamtome Mac app which is great if you have a HTPC like a Mac Mini. Cant recommend highly enough!

Super solid and keeps getting better! Streams to either my iPhone and iPad. Cant wait for a TVos version to complete the household.

Matt has done a stellar job on this and the corresponding ServeToMe app, but the new server app is very buggy and lacks the stability of the previous version. When the server app is installed on a reasonably fast machine it will literally play ANYTHING. ANY format (from the last 10 years), ANY size. Ignore reviews about protected content playback. These people have no idea what they are doing.

It likes very much and it uses it. However, I want you to improve some. Even if the bit rate is specified, it doesnt stabilize. The image quality worsens, and returns to the origin during playback. Information displayed on the player screen becomes not the ID3 tag but the file name and the folder name. I want you to leave information in the tune displayed below on the screen while only not first and last at the artwork screen it, and reusing. Even whenever becoming charged, it buys it if these are realized.
