自宅MacのiTunesのライブラリを外出先から聴くために導入しました。ServeToMeのインストールや設定も簡単だし、iPhoneに自宅回線のIPアドレスさえ入力すれば、ほとんど迷うことなく使えました。ルータのポート変換が必要なかったのには驚きです。もちろんDynDNSで取得したアドレスも使えました。 　自分はApple Losslessでライブラリを組んでいるので、ストリームされるときにAAC 256kbpsにトランスコードされるようですが、音質の劣化はあまり感じません。たまにLTEから3Gに落ちて回線が遅くなると、自動的にに64kbpsくらいの音質に下がりますが、設定で256kbpsに固定することもできます。もちろんその代わりに回線が遅いと途切れますが…。 　あと難点を言えば、1万曲以上あるライブラリから目当ての曲を探し出すのは結構大変です。Apple純正のミュージックアプリのように、アーティスト名やアルバム名でソートして検索できると良いのですが、今後に期待します。現状ではプレイリストの一覧から探すのがメインのやり方で、文字列での検索も一応できます。 　なにはともあれ、audiogalaxyの跡を継ぐアプリとしてはかなりオススメできます。OrbやAirPlayit、Air Media Centerもありますが、自分はStreamToMeが好きですね。安いし。 Thank you the developer of this great app! I want a new function that sort iTunes library by artist and album. Im expecting a good job. Thanks.

It is very useful app for everybody, who has a movie collection on his desktop or laptop but want to watch it being everywhere in the flat: lying on the sofa, cooking at the kitchen and so on. Thank you a lot! P.S. The app is work perfectly, easy to configure and use, though some cosmetic bugs still exists!

Would be nice to have track number tag respected on album playback

ServeToMe doesnt run on Windows XP SP3

New version of Servetome 3.4 is not running on Windows 7

Most .mp4 and .mkv files "could not be opened" or opens in 240p instead of 720p.

Please fix it!

Troubles grows with every new version. Where is stability? Why must I reboot my device or program Servetome to use app? Ipod touch 4 iOs 6.1.3. Fix it, please.

Finally a streaming app that does what it says. Seamless video streaming, excellent audio streaming. Well done! Vignus

I love this app,I try so many different app like Plex and Plex messes up a lot,and freezes up so I tried Streamtome and now I love this,I would recommend this to everyone that wants to stream from your computer

Decided to give this a try on a whim. Works just as advertised. Setup was easy and mu music is now available when I’m not home. Two thumbs up.

One of my favorite apps of all time. It does the job and work smoothly. Never regretting buying this. Wonderful absolutely.

I try them all, I was using Plex but freezes, until a friend recommended this and never looked back. I been using it for a few months now works great. I have a Synology Server that I store all my movies and use WebDAV to access them from my MacMini that I runs this screamer, I travel a lot and never had any problems Steaming anywhere in the world. Plex always lag and freezes. I recommend it!!!

Very amazing application, MORE than worth the few dollars spent. Better than any streaming application Ive come across so far. It does TV shows, movies, music..pretty much every format for each media too. FLAC for music, MKV n anything else you can think of for movies/TV. And its FAST. It may say that it has to transcode but it never feels like it.

I just have to give a shout out about how great this software is after receiving such prompt, clear and thoughtful feedback from a support request. I am running ServeToMe (build 0129) on a 2006 Mac Mini in my garage and I have my whole music library with me on any iDevice with an internet connection to my Mac thats older than the App Store itself! That is so awesome! I have been using StreamToMe for years and am embarrassed to realize that I have started to take it for granted. I reached out with a simple question and got such great feedback that it reminded me what a great piece of work StreamToMe is and that I use it almost every day. So here I am writing this review. Thanks Matt. Keep up the great work!

This is a terrible app. It requires a server app to run on the music source drive, taking up resources. It disconnects frequently. It has an amateurish interface, requiring you to search folders and sub folders like some old DOS program. Dont waste your money.

Tip for LTE/3G streaming: Set the video to “Transcode all tracks”, then lower the bitrate to 320kbps (or lower) until video streams without stalling. The docs are a lot to read, but are a goldmine for getting the best streaming to your phone/tablet.
